Altered Building and Renovations managed the project end to end — from design and drafting support and approvals through to trades, materials, and handover — with a clear strategy: retain and refresh the character rooms at the front, and direct the investment into a new open-plan living, dining, and kitchen zone at the rear where the family actually spends its time.
This is where experience earns its keep on a cottage renovation. Extending an older home means resolving level changes, structural connections, and the transition between old and new so it reads as one cohesive home rather than a house with an obvious add-on.
