We had the opportunity to completely transform this property on Horace Street in Shoal Bay into a stunning, light-filled holiday home. This project involved a complete overhaul of both the interior and exterior, designed to reflect the relaxed elegance of modern coastal living.
The owners wanted to turn the existing structure into something special — a retreat for family and guests that was beautiful, functional, and timeless. As a builder experienced in both internal and external renovations, we worked closely with them to bring their vision to life, creating a home that feels warm, relaxed and perfectly suited to the Shoal Bay lifestyle.
We began by stripping the house back to its bones and reworking the layout to maximise space, light and airflow. Internally, we delivered a complete fit-out including new flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, and finishes throughout. Every room was thoughtfully considered to reflect a clean, coastal aesthetic with soft textures, natural tones, and high-quality finishes. The design balances comfort and style, ideal for both everyday use and weekend escapes.
Externally, we updated the entire facade with coastal-inspired materials, feature timberwork, fresh cladding, and modern architectural lines. New windows and doors opened the home up to natural light and allowed the interior to flow effortlessly to the outdoor spaces. Landscaping and outdoor zones were also considered, helping to tie the holiday home feel together from every angle.
The finished product is a true total home transformation — a stunning Shoal Bay coastal renovation that’s light, open, and built to last. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or enjoying the sea breeze outside, the home now offers comfort, beauty and that “on-holiday” feeling all year round.
